 Rock legend Ace Frehley, the original lead guitarist and one of the founding members of the iconic band Kiss, has died at the age of 74. Known as “The Spaceman,” Frehley helped define Kiss’ signature sound and larger-than-life image during the 1970s rock explosion.



Born in New York City, Frehley co-founded Kiss in 1973 alongside Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss. His explosive guitar solos and flamboyant stage persona made him a fan favorite, while his songwriting contributed to classic hits like “Shock Me,” “Cold Gin,” and “Rocket Ride.”
